We care deeply about the health, safety, and wellbeing of our residents, families, and staff. As healthcare professionals, all of us at Mission Care Group are committed to protecting our residents from the COVID-19 virus, while continuing to provide continuity of care and understanding the importance of family connection and communication. We have an approved mitigation plan in place, with testing schedules for both staff and residents.
Mission Care Group facilities adapted a very cautious approach in safeguarding the well-being of our vulnerable and at-risk residents. On March 3rd, we implemented a “No Visitors” policy, 10 days prior to the federally mandated one on March 13th.
We continue to work with federal, state, and county officials, as well as our local hospitals, to protect our residents and staff. We have adapted a comprehensive plan to mitigate COVID-19 exposures, with additional infection control protocols, extensive training to staff, and broadened communication to residents and families.
In an effort to increase communication and connection, we have set up over 30 Facebook portals, so families are able to maintain relationships, increase communication, and provide emotional support during these uncertain times. You can find facility updates on our Facebook pages.
